Vacation in charleston

Spring break weekend decided to take my handsome son to explore charleston SC. We have never been to charleston nor do we know anyone, but heard of many things to do there. It is a charming city  with beautiful parks and tons of. Greenery!!! For the life of me I didnt take any pictures and regret everything. Looks like we shall have to go back down again soon.  Anywho I was captivated by a prototype polish I swatched last week by Love Angeline, decided to pair it with a bliss crelly "cherished"

Decided to dub the polish "fine as wine"

Hoping I can do another mani this weekend as this lasted only four days :(
Beautiful colors though the love angeline prototype reminded me of another bliss pilish called "darling". I actually mixed up these two on a bliss out babes post with another member. But no one could tell the difference from photos, they are definitely dupes for eachother. But FYI love angeline has not released this prototype forsale, nor has she named it. As far as Bliss "Darling" that is no longer stocked, if you are lucky enough to find it on a resale snag it right away. Happy weekend lovelies~

Surprise!!! No easter bunny

Hello Lovelies,

If you saw the last post , I mentioned something about stamping bunnies on my nails for easter...
Well Surprise!!! No bunnies lol... I've actually been studying all week ( finals) and finishing writing up some research papers for school yay. In between session's to calm down I've been practicing free hand mandala's as well as hitting up pinterest for mandala inspiration!!! I thought as a spring theme I would try to make decals for my nails. I used my DIY nail art mat to swatch and draw what I wanted. What I wanted didn't quite come to fruition, what I had envision is not what I painted. So I cheated ladies!!! No I didn't stamp the mandala's, but if I had plates fosho' I sure would have lol. Instead I used some of my fine art pens to fill in the details of a mandala rather than the polish. The end result I'am partly happy with, you will see why in a few photo's lol. I wish I was a true ambidextrous and could draw with the left hand.

The first one just got crazy!! and not at all symmetrical
After looking through Pinterest and google I was inspired~
These are the fine art pens I used, you can pick them up at hobby lobby listed at $9.99, but got lucky with a coupon so they were $6.00. So ladies always use the coupons!!

Here are the polish shot's: Used Love, Angeline's Summer Sorbet as the base. and finally used Topped with love top coat. Which I'am now an absolute convert!!! It has been 4 days and I have absolutely no chips!!!! Sorry Kiara sky and sally Hansen I'm never coming back!!!

First we shall start with the right hand ,the half that I 'am not in love with.
Here is a thumb shot of Love Angeline's Royal Romance used for another accent nail.

Finally my better half!!! Tada!!! Used Love, Angeline's Dot my heart as an accent.

I need to purchase the rest of her macaroon collection before it is all gone, thank goodness it is on sale as I'am typing!!!

Nail Art Mat DIY

Hello Lovelies,

I have been ogling those Uber chic & Moyou London Mats for awhile, but I'm afraid to commit agh lol. So I decided making my own for now will suffice, until I can splurge on supplies again. I found various tutorials on how to create your own mats, a lot of other bloggers suggested a template from a blogger named Nail Lacquer UK. She has a lovely site with free downloadable templates and a gorgeous Instagram of swatches.  In order to make this mat I used a cardstock paper in which I printed two sides of different templates, then stuffed the paper into a sleeve protector. I've used this mat a few times this week and it will do for now, I'm going to try to laminate it so it will last longer.

Here is the picture of the mani I did using the DIY nail art mat.
Apply a base coat if you want to make nail decals

The drying time took about 3 minutes with the mat.

Used my tweezer man's!! I suggest flat tweezer's, the angled ones punctured the sleeve alittle bit.

Here are the decals , I applied a base coat to my nail, then pressed the decals in.

I did not have to use acetone to get rid of the excess, a cuticle stick did the trick.
The polish pictured is by CDB Lacquer, from the anniversary duo shade "keep on believing"

Hope to make more this week! I will be working on Easter Mani's~
Have a happy Monday!!!

Happy Saint Patty's Mani!!!

Hope everyone has enjoyed the beautiful week and holiday!!! Here is the Saint Patty's Mani I've been sporting around town.
Used a mystery prototype from from Love Angeline, I've dubbed it "Lime in my Coconut"
hoping to use this again once I find a good coconut combo lol
 "Lime in my Coconut"
Used Moyou London Suki Plate #03 for the Peas with X&Ohs as the stamping polish
It stamped okay, I ended up filling and outlining with a brush.
Used OPI's Dear Daniel, ( back at it again with the accent finger)
Used Moyou London Suki Plate 13 for the other stamping accents.
The bunnies are my favorite!!! Don't be surprised to see a Easter Mani with these again lol
The Suki Plates from Moyou London are my favorite plates to stamp with at the moment, IDK if I will go back to my Uberchic plates since I'm about to order some more from Moyou.
Anyone Have an absolute Favorite Plate they are guilty of overusing?
LMK I'm looking to bulk on stamping plates and stamping polish.

Bliss & Moyou

Got in some awesome stamping plates last week that I bought from Moyou London. Decided I needed to finally try a Bliss polish, they have been stareing at me for weeks too. Just have an overwhelming amount of untried polish, and not enough time! I think even less time now, since I got my accepted letter!! This girls going to college!!!! Lol I mean Im going to be a nurse!!! Yay too not having a life for the next two years!!! Oh well it will be worth it!! Can't wait!! In the meantime here is the mani!

Left hand: used Bliss polish "Raise the stakes" suki plate 03 for all the images.
Used an old julep polish as the stamping polish, realized alot of my creamy juleps are good as stamper polish.

Spring mimosa manicure

Tried something different with my nails inspired by easter. I feel springy with my dotted manicure and also alittle weird. Used Polish Me Sillys Thermal in "Sunkissed Sweetheart".

My son wanted some mommy time in between the drying stages.

Thermal is cold activated.

Warm orange tones ,reminds me of a Mimosa (sounds good right now mmmm)

Used Love Angelines 02/16 for the accents.

Have a happy Tuesday!!!
