Feeling February

It's rough starting out not having the education or proper techniques. But I'am hopeful because of awesome nail tutorials and patience.  Felt inspired by some old jam berry nail decals I got over two years ago. Omg can you believe that these precious babies have been  neglected for sooo long.... Then I remembered why I hadn't touched them , they are hard to put on!!!! I keep seeing all these consultants telling me how to apply them and these tips and tricks. It all sounds like blah blah blah so in reality haha I don't have the patients but I'm still hopeful .  I tried , I really did try.
Used Azatures Bouidor diamonds topped with a random kiara sky  hollow glitter. 

Portion vs toddler plates

I like separating my food, there I said it!! I don't like my food mixing and mingling on the plate!! I don't know it freaks me out alittle lol. Plus being able to plate your meal and present it so prettily helps me keep track of portion sizes. I'm pretty guilty of grabbing my sons toddler plates during fast meals. I just love that they are sized in small portions and that the tray is separated. Although I need to change up what I put on the plates, because in no way do I eat healthy. Lol

Glue Base Coat's

I am not the fan of acetone, or liquid nail polish removers in general. It doesn't have to deal with it drying out the skin, because for me they do not. The only irritating thing is that most formula's are strong in the smell department, no fan or open window can cure the wafting chemical. It sticks to your clothes half the time, sometimes I can taste it if I'm around it too long. I feel like I'm slowly poisoning myself and those nearest to me. Good thing is there are alternatives to cleaning up or taking off your precious nail lacquers!!!! For those who are not allergic to latex and are not hurting for money. An example would be Bliss Kiss "Simply Peel", I have not tried these, but if you youtube them ton's of reviews are done.

The method I've been using lately is a DIY I found on YouTube / Pinterest, which is an Elmer's glue mixed with droplets of water. This method has worked for me so far, but is not good for long lasting wear. I've tried on multiple occasions to see how long the glue coat would last paired with nail polish and topcoat. The most I got out of the wear was about six hours, it could have lasted longer. In the six hours of wear it started to chip, dent and partially peel by the end of the day.

Attempted to emulate a design I saw on Pinterest. Definitely did not turn out the way I wanted them too, I need a solid sliver striper. I should just keep it simple lol, anyone have a Pinterest fail?

Anticipating spring?

Its the third day of snow fall here, its actually not that bad I'm able to drive on these ice roads.
But because temperatures are cold I'm looking forward to the up coming bloom season, yay for spring!!! Dreaming of easter and these bunny shoes!!!! IDK where I saw these but I'm in love, they are by Minna Parikka, shop her site if you want this or other bunny looks. Sooo cute!!! I'm ready to bust out flowy tank tops and skirts to pair with these lovelies. Oh and not to mention these awesome bunny backpacks to boot!!!! They can be found on ebay for less than $20.00.

Tried my Mia 2 from clairsonic, and whoa my face felt like it fell off. I wasn't even pressing hard!!! Anyway why on earth would I continue to use this thing. Well for 30 days I'm going to film the beauty routine to see if it makes a difference. Oh check this!!! Forever 21 has a dupe facial brush as well!!! My lovely sister is actually using it, I will post something in comparison in the weeks to follow!!!

Remember that time

Reminiscing about that one time I created a blog a few years ago, and then slowly neglected it. Well today I actually killed it! Decided that I needed to start over and collectively but all things Keeks back together. So Blog goes here, Tumblr post might be linked here, maybe even a few Instagram shares. Either way I needed to get my life.. well I needed to organize my social media and figure out my voice! Hopefully this turns out better than before~
