Changes just like a thermal

Hey lovelies, been uber busy as of lately with school and personal affairs. Lots of stuff going on as far as applying for nursing school yay!! Just happy I qualify and able to turn in the paper work!! Cheers to first steps and new beginnings!! Another snap for me got a job!!! Lol I have been applying for over a year to just even interview and god was looking out for me. So Ive been blessed with the opportunity to get a license thats related to my degree field. With that I decided to rock a new look and dive into the balayage trend!! Walked into Tangled Up Salon in VB and sweet eve was able to create a beautiful color!! Im in love wish I took better pictures of the hair.

Now onto the good stuff!! I have been ordering Indies left and right lately!! It's because of all these great sales everyone has decided to put out all at once. Seriously my wallet is dieing lol i believe I have three seperate orders alone thanks to Love Angelines promos and facebook group. Still planning to shop the Pipedownthisloveisbliss monthly box, practicing my website stalking skills. Until then i have some pretty beautys to tide me over. Here is "Polish me sillys" thermal #blushingfromeartoear it transitions warm to cold. 

A very light pink to another darker shade, unable to describe the beautiful shades. So here are the pictures. 

Stamping with Uberchic

I'm glad I didnt give up on stamping!!! The BF got me Uberchic stamping plates for my birthday. Instantly got them to work with my VAGA stamper from amazon. I think the VAGA shop plates are no good, officially tried all nine plates and was unsuccessful. Watched over 30 youtube videos on stamping again just to trouble shoot those plates. So I give up on those things and Im sticking with the Uberchics.

Here is my first attempt at a mani using one of the Uber chic plates.

Yeah not the best, but I was so happy I could get the clouds. No worries it gets better with the second mani.

Leaf of faith

These pictures do not do this polish justice, Im so in love with this shade. Swatches KBshimmers "leaf of faith" and decided to just do a full manicure. I plan to leave this on until valentines day, or longer lol. 

Its so red and sparkly absolutely delicious, reminded me of red velvet. Speaking of red velvet the sister decided to make some mmm m. Heres a picture of her stuffing her face lol

Snow Bunny on the Beach

I Had time to myself and decided to check out the beach while it was snowing. Its rare for us to get snow, so when it does I try to head to the beach. I know thats so backwards!! I should be inside where its warm but I always think the waves and snow fall are pretty.

Got to sit down today and play with some stamping plates from VAGA. I got the plates in a nail art bundle off amazon for roughly $15.00. I will post a review on the set eventually as i start to use them. Until then here are some visuals of my failed attempt at stamping lol.

I think i watched over 20 videos in preparation for stamping and trouble shooting.

I just need to keep trying, my polish stash just doesnt contain thick polish whomp whomp.

Anywho here are some shots of the base i used by KBshimmer!!! Its a beautiful color!! The pictures are three coats of "To Peach his Own". Ive been very anxious to try her polish, so I ordered this a week ago and bam!!! The formula isnt thick which is good glided on very nice not watery. The only negative thing I can day is that I don't prefer the polish applicator, its on the short side. Im weird i like long applicators maybe its just what Im used too. Other than that the polish itself is perfect!!! Cant wait to try more from her!!!

Blue floral water decals

Finally able to add alittle extra to my manicure! Im limited on my free hand decorating, its because of the cold WX and my carpal tunnel 😭. Hopefully my stamping plates get here soon!!!! In the meanwhile i was able to order water decals from KBshimmer.com 😍 in love with everything!!!! The decals were under $2.00 for a small sheet that reminded me of temporary tattoo paper! Not bad!! I ordered last week and it got here in less than 5 days!! Woah to me that was fast shipping, i was not expecting it so soon! Impressed!! I just ordered another bundle of nail goodies , cant wait to review those~ below are the blue floral mani i did for a nail art challenge on instagram.

Pink water marbles

Just trying out the water marble craze, i did my manicure twice before deciding to just stick with the pink and gold. Glitter is hard to clean up ugh, i even taped my nails. Remind me to try a latex or some other nail barrier, i had to use acetone yuck. There is still glitter everywhere!! Make it staph!! Jk i still love glitter~

Used azatures opal diamond as the base and then juleps on top.

Final mani~ i might add flowers tomorrow who knows.

My 1st Thermal Polish

Browsing polishes a couple weeks ago and saw this beautiful polish by #cometvomit. Her thermal polish "Sweather" reminded me of #Pantone color of the year wish is two colors. Rose Quartz which is almost a nude pink, while Serenity is described as "tranquil blue" according to pantones website. Really when i look at what they posted my eyes deceive me, because all I see a lilac (light purple). Anywho i wonder if this would turn out to be like the great dress debate.
